The Sunday School Department comprises eleven (11) classes, namely; Beginners (ages 4 & 5), Primary I (ages 6 & 7), Primary II (ages 8 & 9), Juniors (10 & 11), Junior High (ages 12-14), Senior High (ages 15-17), College and Career (18-24), Young Adults (ages 25-35), Know Your Bible (KYB) (over 35), Doctrinal (students from Discipleship 101) and Discipleship 101 (students from New Converts Class). Children under 12 years old, who accepted Christ, attend the Kool Kids New Convert class to prepare them for baptism and membership. There is a class within the Sunday School for all ages, where the Bible is explained, and an opportunity given for students to interact around the Word more intimately.
The Children’s Church Department is convened simultaneously with the preaching of the Word on Sunday mornings. The children (ages 3-9) are put in an environment where the Word is delivered to them at a level and in a format where they can understand.
The Nursery Department offers parents who attend church with babies the option to hear the sermon uninterrupted. Babies and toddlers are well cared for by our competent team of Nursery Workers. The interaction among toddlers fosters a sense of belonging and further assists in their social development.
The CEP extends its ministry to children in the community through Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) during the month of July each year.
It’s the church’s goal to continue to aid in the spiritual development of the members and encourage them to be the best that they can be for Christ.
This Ministry aligns with the church’s mission, and at least 4 of its 6 core pillars (evangelism, equipping, fellowship and member care, and the Word of God).
